Rhododendron maximum

      Large white flowers clusters bloom in June to July amidst long, dark, evergreen leaves. Native to the understory of our eastern mountain forests, it is a bold plant that prefers some shade and acidic soil.      Height 6-8 ft. (Sun to Shade)

Rhododendron maximum X 'Roseum'

      Flowering a lovely pink in June, this cultivar has a smaller leaf and a more compact habit than the species. It can be particularly useful when space is limited. Situate in some shade and acidic soil.      Height 5-6 ft. (Partial Sun- Shade)

      A choice plant for those with good, well-drained, acid soil. Small evergreen foliage shows off clusters of small, lavender-pink blooms in May.      Ht. 3-6'. (Partial Sun)
